One in 150 children is diagnosed with autism. Perhaps it is just a number but put it with the face of a child and you may get the chills. As a mother of a child with autism, I often hear, "Your son looks so normal." Of course he does. Children with autism are just as beautiful as other kids and although some are non-verbal, their photographs are worth a thousand words.

That's why I started taking photographs of my son and his school mates. I exhibit the photographs of the children at the school and I am working towards compiling the photos into a book. A Thousand Words, Photography Collection of Children with Autism.
